AI summary based on real user insights
Longtime users are notably enthusiastic about this air fryer's performance, with many calling it the absolute best AF I've ever owned and others praising results like some of the best I've eaten in a while and being impressed with first meal, way better than the oven. The design earns specific praise too, with reviewers highlighting the big basket, heats fast, super consistent cooking and the fact it features top and bottom elements so no flipping is required. Build quality also gets nods, with people noting it doesn't feel cheap and is all stainless steel and easy to clean.
That said, a number of owners ran into frustrating durability and functionality issues. Complaints include a hinge locking up, units that simply won't turn on, and one that blew out the thermal fuse despite otherwise appearing to be of good build quality. Others mentioned annoyances like it beeping every time you press a button, setting off alarms all the time, and one user noted a terrible design, though it can be bypassed. Some also found that breaded foods fall off on the mesh base, and general messiness and noise were flagged as well, as in the review noting it just dries out the food outer surface, is messy, big, loud, and eventually broke.
This model seems best suited for regular, frequent use rather than occasional cooking, since several reviewers describe using it constantly over long stretches, including one who reported it gets used several times a week for years and replaced two other air fryers and another who has kept one running excellent, been using daily for about 12 years. Its large capacity and consistent heating also make it a good fit for people cooking bigger batches or full meals rather than small snacks.
Ease of use and cleanup come up often as a value-adding factor, with comments like easy to use and praise for the easy to clean basket setup. Several users simply describe it as good, pretty good overall, and one reported being really happy with it, works great so far, suggesting solid satisfaction relative to cost for many buyers.
A recurring standout theme is longevity paired with occasional wear, as one user noted it still going strong, has been amazing while another observed that the shelf ends up showing a lot of wear despite otherwise having worked very well. This mix of praise for long-term reliability alongside scattered mechanical failures and cosmetic wear seems to be the defining tension in how people talk about this air fryer.
